The Kellydole is a smiling anthropomorphic bag based on one of
his sketches of a sitting creature, where "Quelle idole!"
translates to "such an idol!" The most famous handbag from the
line is the Kelly. In 1852, the Haut à Courroies (HAC) bag made
its debut, giving rise to the Kelly.
Grace Kelly, who lived from 1929 to 1982, grew up in
Philadelphia and dreamed of stardom. She subsequently met
and wed Prince Rainier III, becoming the Princess Consort of
Monaco, a principality surrounded by France, and rose to
prominence as one of Hollywood's most influential and wellknown
actresses.
She exhibited a significant affection for the 1930s creation
known as the Sac à dépêches bag. The Princess used the bag to
conceal her growing tummy from the paparazzi in an iconic
photo, which led to its renaming as the Kelly bag.
This month we've chosen Herbag Zip cabine verso bag. This
dynamic design, made of canvas with a real leather flap, pays
respect to the house's trademarks on everything from its
straps and key fobs to its centre "Clou de Selle" clasp.
