Anse Source d’Argent, Seychelles Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue is the original Bounty advert beach, covered in immaculate white sand and studded with big granite boulders. It's possibly one of the most gorgeous sites on the planet. It isn't completely desolate, but if you go early in the morning, you'll beat the daytrippers from Mahé and Praslin. Walk south into the shallows past the first group of stones to find your slice of paradise. The bay widens out to provide more breathing room.
Pink Sands Beach, Harbour Island, The Bahamas Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island in the Bahamas is unlike any other beach in the Caribbean, with pale pink sand that looks particularly surreal at sunrise and sunset. This is one of the world's best pink sand beaches. The beach stretches for about five kilometres and is up to 30 metres broad at times. The ocean-crushed bodies of minute coral insects called foraminifera that resides on the underside of reefs give the sand its colour. Because of the outlying reef protection, the turquoise water is usually quiet and shallow, making swimming quite safe.
