His towering stilettos with their shiny red-lacquered soles topped the Luxury Institute’s annual Luxury Brand Status Index for 3 years running. He began his career as a freelance designer for fashion houses before opening his own shoe salon in Paris, where his shoes were popular among celebrities. He worked with various businesses on initiatives such as limited edition products, gallery displays, and a custom bar. His company has since grown to include men's footwear, purses, fragrances, and cosmetics.
This month we've chosen Christian Louboutin Riojana Spikes as the footwear of the month. The Riojana Spikes are a new style for this season, inspired by the iconic Gwynitta from a previous collection. This black kid leather post sandal has two delicate spikeembellished straps: one main crossover strap that encases the foot and ankle and ends with a thong detail, and a front strap. A wide sandal last, almond toe box and linen liner come together to create an extremely wearable flat sandal with an edgy urban attitude.
