This isn't your typical Ferrari; the 812 Superfast is one of the
most powerful front-engine production cars ever built. The 812
Superfast is a replacement for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta from
the Italian performance car manufacturer. It has a sporty look
because of the strong design aspect.
The Ferrari 812 is powered by a 789-hp 6.5-liter V-12 engine
that sends 530 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels through
a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission. The 812
touches 60 mph in 2.8 seconds.
The cabin of the 812 has seating for two people, is quite
spacious, has decent ergonomics, and is modern in style.
Ferrari ditched the traditional steering-wheel stalks in favour
of push-button controls for the wipers and turn signals on the
spokes, allowing drivers to embrace the 812's grand-touring
nature and keep their hands on the wheel at all times.
In practically any gear and cornering position, there's more
than enough power to summon up an armful of oversteer. When
a slide occurs, it happens quickly, yet the car's steering is so
direct that repairs can be made at the same time. Ferrari's
incredible seats will keep you firmly in place.
