Despite having a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic in every Mercedes-AMG GT, the handbuilt engine's output varies depending on the model you choose. On the basic GT, it generates 523 horsepower and has adjustable dampers and a limited-slip rear differential as standard equipment. A highlight is the centre console. Eight tiny colour panels that are cleverly arranged into buttons to reference the V8 engine located under the hood. These 8 buttons regulate everything from the driving dynamics to the exhaust, actively modifying the display based on the setting. It's undoubtedly intelligent, if not excessive.
