There are two cabin configurations available for the 2022 A8 L. The base Celebration model has a movable central console that makes room for the fifth seat, while the Technology trim is a four-seater. The A8 L facelift has a tonne of features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, USB type-C connections, wireless charging, tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) audio system that sounds amazing and effectively muffles outside noises. Audi will sell you the optional 23-speaker B&O system with a staggering total power of 1920 watts if you want to further satisfy your acoustic needs.

Little has changed from the standpoint of the driver. The dual- screen centre console has been retained, and the Audi Virtual Cockpit is still popular and available as an extra. The general design is definitely Audi and not much of an improvement over the model before the facelift. The lower screen frequently diverts attention while moving, and the haptic input still requires some getting accustomed to. The MMI user interface operates without a hitch, and although it has a layered structure to access some of the more often used features, it is still pretty easy to understand.
The same 3.0 litre V6 turbocharged mild hybrid engine powers the Audi A8 L facelift. The power is a "essential luxury" to move this somewhat big automobile, with 335 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The 8-speed transmission feels swift, and the Quattro system aids in more efficient power use. The A8 sprints like a lighter car than it is, which we find to be really pleasing. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.7 seconds, and the highest speed is electronically capped at 250 km/h. Given the dimensions and girth, impressive. Once you press the pedal, the automobile feels stable and ready to go.

The Audi A8 L facelift is commanding, elegant, and exciting to drive. Although a diesel version would have increased the car's appeal to many consumers, it is difficult to discount its pricing advantage over competitors. But what really sets it apart from its competitors is that superb back seat and a tech-heavy kit. The makeover significantly expands on the distinct niche that the A8 L has always occupied.
