The top VXi model adds central locking and keyless entry as well as a SmartPlay Dock 2-DIN audio player in higher trims that also supports Bluetooth, USB and AUX in addition to AM/ FM radio. Air conditioning, power steering, and front power windows are all available starting with the LXi variant. One of the first cars on the market to receive the BSVI modifications was the Maruti Alto. To comply with the current pollution rules, the outdated 800cc petrol engine was replaced. The engine continues to produce 48PS and 69Nm of power after obtaining the modifications. The current fuel economy is 22.05 kmpl. A 5-speed MT is connected to this engine.
